The HBZT INQUire function is used to display detailed information for the task-related user exit (TRUE) associated with a HostBridge for zIIP (HBz) Server in a CICS region.
In effect, the information shown is the same information that is provided when an EXEC CICS INQUIRE EXITPROGRAM program request is issued.
The format of the HBZT INQUire command is:
where Serverid is the name of an HBz Server (such as the installation defaults BASE or JSE).
The Serverid parameter is required.
When you invoke the INQUire function by typing in:
and press the Enter key, you will see a screen similar to:
Detailed information for the TRUE associated with the Server is displayed.
If the INQUire function is invoked in any of the following situations:
- When HBz is not INITialized
- When the Serverid is not specified
- When the Serverid is invalid
the following error message will appear:
You should then press the Enter key to be able to invoke further HostBridge functions.
If an INQUire request is attempted for a Server that has not been enabled, the following message appears:
