The HBZT transaction requires one (1) parameter; namely, the function to be performed. For example:

If you fail to specify a function by just typing in HBZT as follows:

you will be reminded of the valid functions by the resulting screen:

When executing the HBZT transaction, you should clear your screen before typing in the transaction and function.

In the following articles (see the links below), the function names are shown with the first four characters in upper case.  This is because each function may be specified either with its entire name or abbreviated to the first four characters of the name.

Most HBZT functions operate against a specific HostBridge for zIIP (HBz) Server, and therefore require a second parameter (the Server name).  If a Server name is not specified, JSE is the default.
